Challenge
The Client wanted to create a web page that could serve as an information landing page for potential investors and customers. He was in the startup stage of his business and needed a one page website where he could collect email addresses of those interested in his product to provide updates as well as provide some general information about his product.
Solution
After meeting with the client, we agreed that a WordPress website with the Divi theme from Elegant Themes would be the best solution as he would then be able to take the website back over after the design was complete. The Client didn’t have any experience building websites or managing them, so with the theme chosen, it is the easiest for non technical users to navigate.
The Client was given a few iterations for the website before choosing the one that is live. By helping the client setup a MailChimp account and integrating it with the optin forms on the site, the Client was very pleased with his site. As customary, I offered some follow up support for a specified amount of time to answer any questions and helped him update his site with footnotes.

This was a straight forward project with the client knowing exactly what he wanted. He wanted to incorporate the hexagonal aspect of his product into the design of the website. This led to some interesting design ideas that ultimately became an accent feature. Elements of his logo were also incorporated into the design of the website to provide a fairly seamless look and feel.
